Hi Sharone:

I had gone to Zuccotti several times to observe before and after the day we shot the picture. I didn't find it to be a dangerous place at all. It was more like a bunch of young people having a pizza party and talking to reporters. There were more tourists and press than protesters the day we shot the picture. The Daily Show was there filming a segment.

Little Man was either in my arms or in his little traveling bag the entire time we were down there except for the minute or so of the "shoot." It's more dangerous for me to take him to the local dog park, because he's tiny but feisty and tries to pick fights with every single dog.

Hi were you afraid to go to Occupy Wall Street with such a small dog? It seemed dangerous and you dont really address that danger in your post.

How did you get the photo out there? Only through Buzzfeed?

No question! You've hit on the most important factor; how does this extend my brand's narrative? If it does not then it serves no purpose. Thanks for the comment!

Jake, great tips! I'm a big fan of QR codes, but only if they're truly useful. It's a great opportunity for CPG brands to include on packaging for things like recipes, tips or even discounts of product pairings.
