Rita Harding

Rita currently leads the brand, positioning, marketing and campaign functions at Transport for NSW. In this role she works with a team to positively position public transport and drive patronage growth, the development and delivery of an extensive road and maritime safety campaign program focussed on reducing death and injuries across NSW; and maximising more efficient use of the transport network during Sydney’s largest transport infrastructure building program.

Prior to joining TfNSW in February 2012, Rita held senior executive roles in the Government tourism sector including stints at Tourism NT and Tourism New Zealand.

Rita holds a BA Hons degree from Melbourne University and a Graduate Certificate in Business and Technology from the AGSM. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) and has served as a non-executive director on a number of Government not-for-profit Boards.
