Tetsuya Honda

Tetsuya Honda is the founding Managing Director of BlueCurrent Japan, a leading strategic PR and influencer marketing boutique agency in the Omnicom portfolio, recognized as a pioneer in next-gen brand strategies in Japan. BlueCurrent advises leading brands from P&G, Kelloggs, Unilever, adidas, Suntory, Uniqlo and GoPro, to name a few. It's work has received recognition at SPIKES Asia and the Cannes Lions festival of Creativity. Mr. Honda joined Fleishman Hillard in 1999, a global PR consultancy which operates more than 80 offices worldwide. He launched BlueCurrent Japan as a sister agency in 2006. Mr. Honda is a frequent speaker on marketing and PR innovation and an author of several popular business books. “STRATEGIC PR” published in 2009 created a phenomenon for PR in Japan’s business world. His seventh book, “STOP FOOLING YOURSELF: ADVERTISING AND MASS MEDIA DON’T MOVE PEOPLE ANYMORE” became one of Japan’s best-selling advertising book in 2014.
