All attendees will be given a virtual reality viewer to watch a show reel, presented by The Sun’s Jamie East, of some of the best VR content produced to date.

News UK’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dominic Carter, will be chairing a lively discussion about the potential future of advertising in virtual worlds. As VR becomes mainstream, with 360º video capabilities being promoted by companies as diverse as Samsung and McDonalds, the question of how advertising will fit into this new technological universe necessarily arises.
VR advertising to date has largely been dominated by small scale innovation projects rather than properly planned and executed mainstream campaigns. As the shift to campaigns of scale occurs the panel will examine what they think the future will hold for VR in advertising.
