Sam Phillips

Sam began her career as an account handler at J Walter Thompson and TBWA before she was lured client-side for nine years – first as Head of Marketing for ITV and then as Marketing Director at Time Inc. – before moving back (media) agency-side in 2005. Sam is CMO across Omnicom Media Group’s UK agencies (OMD UK, Manning Gottlieb OMD, PHD, Rocket and Hearts & Science) and Specialist Services (Annalect, OMG Programmatic, Drum, Fuse, Benchmarketing, Mobile5, Talon, Barter). Sam is also founder and MD of OMG Ethnic, heads up Omnicom Media Group UK’s Diversity efforts, was last year’s co-Chair of Omniwomen UK and is Assistant Dean of Omnicom University. She sits of the Board of RADA and is a proud member of WACL. In 2015, Sam was awarded the ‘Global Women’s Leadership Achievement Award’ in recognition of her commitment and contributions to society and industry.
