Rian Shah

Rian is OMD UK’s Chief Strategy Officer and is responsible for working with the agency’s clients to create motivating, insight-led strategies which lead to brilliant creative work. Working with Hamid Habib, he oversees the overall strategy, innovation, insight and creative output of OMD UK.

Previously at ZenithOptimedia UK for 7 years, Rian started life as a digital specialist before migrating to communications planning and rising to Head of Strategy. His client experience includes O2, RBS/Natwest, Mars, and giffgaff. He has also tried his hand at account planning at a digital agency in the US where he developed creative and user experience strategies for Verizon Wireless and BBC Worldwide. Rian has been named in both MediaWeek and Campaign’s “30 under 30”, and in Campaign’s top 10 media planners in the UK.
