Colin is the MD and Chief Creative Officer of BBDO's content marketing agency Redwood. In the three years since he joined the agency, he has led a business transformation that has resulted in 75% of revenues now being digital. He has also been central in securing many new clients including AkzoNobel, FedEx, HP, Ikea and Aston Martin.
Prior to joining Redwood in 2015, Colin spent two decades as a successful editor in consumer media. At magazine giant Emap, he led the digital transformation and international expansion of two marquee magazine brands – Empire and FHM. He also spent three years as Emap’s Digital Creative Director, launching websites for brands including celebrity title Heat.
More recently, Colin worked as Content Director at Metro, leading digital integration strategy and co-founding a native content agency called Metro Story. He has previously chaired sessions at both Cannes Lions and AdWeek Europe. He began his career at the much-missed Smash Hits.
