Jennifer Zimmerman

Jennifer oversees the planning and strategy teams in New York and Chicago, and is responsible for the strategic thinking and product for all of our North American clients. Additionally, she is charged with spearheading mcgarrybowen's strategic philosophy across our expanding global network.

After joining mcgarrybowen in 2003, she quickly became an integral part of the senior leadership team that has helped fuel our incredible growth and unprecedented success. The architect of the agency's masterbranding process, Jennifer has created a refreshingly unique and simple strategic philosophy designed to get to big, iconic ideas that have the power to transform client brands and businesses.

A 25-year industry veteran and former "Adweek 50," Jennifer spent a large part of her career at Y&R Advertising and Wunderman NY, most recently in 2001 when she was EVP, Director of Strategy for Y&R's NY office. There, she oversaw strategic work for clients like AT&T, American Express, Citibank, Merck, Sears, and Sony, among many others.

Jennifer is a Wesleyan University graduate, an avid crossword puzzler, and former ballerina. Her dancing skills are still pretty sharp - she won the agency's "Dancing With The Stars" competition.
