Pawan Mehra

As Founder and Principal, Pawan J. Mehra has spearheaded Améredia’s emergence as one of the fastest-growing multicultural advertising agencies nationwide. The agency markets to diverse groups like Hispanics, African Americans, Asian Americans, European Americans, LGBTs, Middle Easterners and Pacific Islanders. Pawan has overseen Améredia’s consistent growth since its inception in 2003, bringing together a stellar team, fostering a value-driven culture and establishing strategic partnerships to ensure agency’s success and growth.

Pawan’s advocacy for diversity reaches far beyond Améredia. He is a 2012 National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Next Generation Leader, American Advertising Federation (AAF) Role Model and a 2011 ADCOLOR® Change Agent. Pawan sits on the executive committees of the American Advertising Federation’s Mosaic Council and its Advertising Hall of Achievement. He is a US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) Brain Trust member and sits on the Western Region’s governing board, providing guidance in expanding the organization’s vision through multicultural marketing and communications. He also serves on the California Business Advisory Council.

Pawan founded Améredia after spending significant time in cross-cultural marketing communications and gaining master’s in business from Asia and the United States. Today, the agency enables utilities like Comcast, Pacific Gas & Electric and San Jose Water Company, with their regional marketing communications catered towards California’s diverse demographics. Pawan attributes the agency’s success to its diversity focus, forward-thinking vision and team-driven culture. Pawan enjoys exploring global multiculturalism through travels with his wife Sam and kids Aryan, Anya and Aashee. He resides in San Francisco, home to the nation’s most culturally diverse community.
