Auro Trini Castelli

Born in London, raised in Italy, Auro Trini Castelli currently works in New York as Head of Strategy for gyro.

He started his career as a designer and over the past 15 years he’s been heading the strategic departments of DDB, AAN (Audi Agency Network), Red Cell, FCB and the IPG Oreo Leadership Team.

He was the strategic mind behind OREO’s multi-awarded Daily Twist campaign, which recognitions include a Cannes Lions Cyber Grand Prix, the 2013 Facebook Blue Award and IAB MIXX Award as best social media campaign of the year, as well as multiple Effie Awards and a top spot in the WARC 100 2014 list among the world’s best social media campaigns based on their performance in effectiveness and strategy competitions.

His eclectic experience includes working with global and iconic brands such as Audi, Campari, Lamborghini, Microsoft X-Box, MTV/Nickelodeon, Kraft Foods, Sky TV and Volkswagen.
Auro is a member of the International Academy Of Digital Arts And Sciences and has been a speaker at multiple venues in the U.S and Europe, from the New York Institute of Technology to the most recent edition of the Cannes Lions Festival.

He believes that brands should make culture (not just trying to be part of it) and think society, instead of being defined by their category.
