Michael Dwan

Michael is passionate about brands and helping them to take full advantage of the interactive palette to engage and entertain audiences. He leads the Europe/Asia arm of a global team in Microsoft’s Advertising & Online Division. His team drive interactive media and technology innovation that address CMO/Marketer strategic objectives and campaign challenges. He has extensive experience building branded entertainment and ad solutions teams in the US and Europe. The team leverage external content and technical partnerships to further bolster offering value. Before Online he held Marketing positions with Microsoft’s Consumer Division advancing packaged CD products like Encarta, Age of Empires and Flight Simulator. Prior to Microsoft worked for The Gillette Company in Boston and DEC in Burlington VT, holding Brand Management and Product Planning roles. He attended university in Ireland and holds BBS (Hons), MMII (Grad). He also is a graduate of the photography programme at UW SoA Seattle. Currently completing MBA at Berlin School of Creative Leadership, Steinbeis-Hochschule. He lives in London and is father to an 11 year old son, Nicholas, a constant inspiration.
