Lauren Greenfield

Acclaimed documentary filmmaker/photographer Lauren Greenfield is considered a preeminent chronicler of youth culture, gender and consumerism. Her extensive body of work includes her winning feature-length documentary “The Queen of Versailles,” which was the Opening Night film at Sundance 2012, as well as monographs “Girl Culture,” “Fast Forward,” “THIN” and other photographic works that have been widely published, exhibited and collected by leading museums around the world. Most recently, Greenfield produced the widely talked about #LikeAGirl ad for Always, which asked adults and teens to act out what it means to do something like a girl. The ad went viral and shed light on prevalent gender stereotypes.

Greenfield is currently working on two film projects. She lives in Venice, California with her husband and producing partner, Frank Evers, and their two sons.
