Doug Ray is the Global and U.S. President of Carat, Dentsu Aegis Network’s flagship media network. His mission is clear: to redefine the way media can deliver better business outcomes by harnessing the disruptive, yet powerful dynamics of globalization and media convergence. Under Doug’s leadership, Carat has become the fastest growing global media agency, having secured more than $5.2 billion in new business globally, including GM, Macy’s, Staples, Mondelez, Dannon and MasterCard. In the U.S., Carat has been awarded consecutive “Media Agency of the Year” honors from the industry’s pre-eminent trade publications, including Advertising Age, Adweek and Media Magazine. In 2012, Doug was named Adweek’s Media Executive of the Year and one of Advertising Age’s Media Mavens.
