He founded and ran numerous traditional and digital companies in journalism, publishing, marketing and advertising. His experience includes rock 'n' roll music, photography and film newspaper reporter, magazine writer, publishing entrepreneur and non-traditional advertising and marketing.
Kirk is particularly interested in the revolution in media and marketing that is being propelled by the continuing digitization of all content, the advent of audience control over media, the downward spiral of TV ads and the rise of an entirely new kind of media ecosystem based on social sharing.
