Kemet has been committed to relentless digital innovation for many years. Over the last five years she has led IKEA through a transformative digital makeover—from traditional media strategies to the game-changing adoption of a comprehensive digital/social media approach with data connectivity at the center. Her perspective effortlessly combines analytics and creativity—science and art, resulting in increased multi-channel traffic and sales.

She is also credited with spearheading branded entertainment for IKEA US through projects: Easy To Assemble and Fix This Kitchen and the IKEA Home Tour. Through Alia’s leadership, IKEA has become recognized as a leader in branded content online. She is the creator and strategic lead of the award winning IKEA Home Tour, a DIY brand web series where real IKEA co-workers help America improve life at home with design solutions. The Home Tour brand and revenue success further established Alia as a fearless innovator in the digital space.

Alia is a 2015 DMN 40 under 40 awardee, and 2015 Content Marketer of the Year Finalist.
