Seth Rogin is President & CEO of Nucleus Marketing Solutions, a new company founded by Hearst, Gannett, McClatchy and Tribune to drive innovation and digital media sales for the news industry.
From 2013 until 2016, he was Mashable's Chief Revenue Officer. During his three year tenure, Mashable grew by triple digits, secured its first three rounds of venture investment, and expanded across the globe to the UK, France, Asia, and Australia.
Seth worked for The NY Times for 13 years in various positions, as VP of Advertising from 2006 until 2013. He led sales for the fast-growing mobile platform and was responsible for sales and business operations of The New York Times Magazine and T, The NY Times Style Magazine, including the creation and highly successful launch of its first website. His career is a record of digital firsts and resilient multi-platform growth.
Seth is called upon to speak at conferences in the US, the UK, Italy, France, Poland and Spain, as well as at universities and to the staff of leading brands. He serves as juror for The Festival of Media Awards, Global and Middle East. He was named "One of the 30 best people in advertising to follow on Twitter" by Business Insider.
In 2014, he was featured in Travel & Leisure Magazine, and was named "CRO of the Year" by MIN. In 2015, he was inducted into MIN's Media Sales Hall of Fame and was featured as a Distinguished Speaker at The University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. In 2016, he was named "Industry Luminary of the Year" in a vote of top marketers and agency executives for iMedia's Awards.
Seth is a founding member of the Advisory Board of The Jerry Garcia Foundation, alongside rock legend Bob Weir and promoter Pete Shapiro. He is NY co-chair of fwd.us. He serves on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of the Ad Council, and the Advisory Councils of Ad Week NY and Europe.
