Jerry Judge

Born and educated in London, Jerry began his advertising career at Leo Burnett in 1971.

In 1974 he was asked to become the eleventh employee of TBWA London. He worked on Johnson and Johnson, Cadbury, Ovaltine and Land Rover.

In 1982 Messrs Bartle Bogle and Hegarty left TBWA to start BBH. They took Jerry with them. He worked on the pitches for Audi and Levis. Jerry became Chairman of BBH and worked on successful pitches for Unilever and Shell amongst others.

In 1992 Jerry accepted an invitation to become CEO of Y&R London. He was also made a member of the European management board. He oversaw account wins for Ford and American Express and the reacquisition of what was Kraft General Foods.

In 1994 Sir Frank Lowe asked Jerry to become CEO of Lowe Howard Spink. There were numerous account wins and unprecedented back to back Grands Prix wins at Cannes.

Jerry later became President of Lowe International and subsequently CEO of Lowe Worldwide.

He oversaw what was the largest merger of two operating companies in advertising between Lowe and APL.

He also oversaw Draft, Dailey, Mullen and Zipatoni as well as the medical agencies. He was the Management lead on Nestle, Unilever, General Motors and Johnson and johnson accounts.

Jerry left IPG in 2005 and helped start an agency that is dedicated to womens marketing.

He has co written a TV comedy series and a feature film currently in development.

He has lectured on the senior management course at London Business School and is a member of D&AD on merit for an Audi commercial he co wrote.
