As founder of LaFORCE and a highly-regarded communications consultant, LaForce directs a range of programs across the agency’s diverse client roster. He combines business savvy with an insatiable enthusiasm for the trends and temperaments of the ever-changing media landscape. Early in his career, he was fortunate enough to be mentored by the legendary fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert, who is often credited with putting American fashion on the global map.
Over his 30 years in marketing communications he has conceived campaigns for top brands such as Target, Banana Republic, Perry Ellis, 3M, LinkedIn, Panerai, Belvedere, RH (Restoration Hardware), Grand Hyatt and Hyatt. LaForce is instrumental in promoting Target’s ground-breaking collaborations with top designers such as Alexander McQueen and Missoni.
LaForce and his husband Stephen Henderson spend weekends on their farm in the Hudson Valley, but he is happiest at his office sending out emails and “calling around to bug people.”
