Patrick Albano is the Chief Revenue Officer for AdTheorent, a machine learning-powered predictive advertising company. He leads Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Account Management and content design for the six-year-old New York-based company.
Prior to joining AdTheorent, Patrick held various roles at Yahoo, most recently leading part of its sales organization based in Europe, and previously leading Mobile, Social and Advanced Creative sales. Prior to that, Patrick served as vice president of sales at Citizen Sports. He joined Yahoo in 2010 when Citizen Sports was acquired. Citizen Sports was one of the first companies to introduce advertising and content sponsorships within Facebook and across the iPhone and Android devices. Patrick has also held senior sales roles at Sports Illustrated, About.com and various start ups earlier in his career.
Patrick has a passion for helping the advertising industry evolve around new technology and has held Board positions with the IAB and MMA. He helped write the IAB's first Native Advertising Playbook and is currently launching the industry’s first Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Committee in partnership with the IAB. Additionally, he is an advisor to multiple early-stage companies.
Patrick is a native New Yorker and lives on the Upper West Side with his wife Beth and two daughters, Maggie and Juliet.
