Lauren Flaherty

Lauren is executive vice president and chief marketing officer at CA Technologies, a market leader in enterprise software. She joined CA in August 2013 after two consecutive CMO roles with Juniper Networks and Nortel Networks, and a 25-year marketing career at IBM where she held senior leadership positions for more than a decade. Lauren also serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Compensation Committee for Xactly Corporation, a market leader in SaaS-based enterprise software and services.

Lauren is responsible for all facets of CA’s global marketing and leading the corporate repositioning for the company’s digital transformation. In this capacity, she recast CA’s reputation and positioning in the market via portfolio rationalization, strategic media, and sponsorship partnerships. Further, she led the development of the company’s first integrated operating model for demand and opportunity management across sales and marketing with a “digital first” customer approach.  
Lauren has been recognized multiple times by BtoB Magazine, including as one of the World's Top Marketers, and was profiled in Secrets of the Marketing Masters.  She was named one of The Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley by the San Jose Business Journal, and has been recognized by the National Diversity Council as one of the 50 Most Powerful Woman in Technology. She is a member of the Wall Street Journal’s CMO Network.
Lauren holds a BA from Syracuse University.  She has two children, and lives with her husband in New York City.
