An alumnus of Oxford University, where he gained a First in Classics with French, Jason fell into the world of London advertising agencies in 1990, working for several of the global networks including Ogilvy, Publicis and BBDO. In 2008 Jason took his experience solo and freelanced for six fascinating years, which included consultancy stints with Clients like Cadbury, Danone and Johnson & Johnson, plus a new career as a Marketing trainer, working closely with Mars Inc. amongst others. That work won Jason a Marketing Society Award in the UK in 2013. . Later that year Jason was recruited by Diageo to be Global Planning Director, Whiskies – for an avowed Johnnie Walker fan, a dream job. For the last 18 months Jason has been Planning Director of Diageo North America, Diageo’s biggest market, where he oversees strategy on Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Ketel One, Ciroc, Baileys, Guinness and many other brands you know and hopefully some of which you enjoy in moderation from time to time.
