Luis Di Como

Luis has spent most of his career in Unilever, in different functions (Finance, Media, and Marketing) in different countries (Argentina, Thailand, UK) with global, regional and local scope.

He joined the company in 1991 in finance, before moving to marketing in in 1993 where he held various positions including Global BD Sunsilk Director in Thailand.

In 2006, Luis was appointed Global Head of Communication Planning in London, responsible for the development of the media framework for the Integrated Brand Communication program and driving communication strategy and channel guidelines for key global projects. From 2008 to 2010, Luis was the VP Media Americas, based in Buenos Aires.

In March 2011, Luis was promoted to EVP Global Media. His key responsibility is to drive the overall Unilever Global Media agenda. As part of this, Luis is accountable for leveraging UL scale to drive Innovation and Partnership with all media players, including Global Digital players, as well as maximizing the effectiveness and efficiencies for the second biggest global media budget.
