Steve Barrett oversees content operations across two of Haymarket Media’s flagship business titles – PRWeek and MM&M (Medical Marketing & Media).
The role encompasses leadership of creation and production of content, providing editorial vision and voice, and supervising full-time and freelance editorial staff. He manages editorial budgets and central Content Hub and Custom Content Lab teams to ensure MM&M and PRWeek are must-reads for their respective audiences. Steve is editor-in-chief and acts as the public face of PRWeek US and a strategic partner for the brand's business-side team, working on revenue generation, partnership opportunities, and other projects to build readership and enhance the organization’s editorial resources and market leadership.
He leads content strategy across PRWeek and MM&M, maintains editorial quality, manages cohesive multichannel content teams, ensures a multichannel vision is prioritized and uses metrics and analytics to make decisions.
