Dyllan McGee

Dyllan McGee is a two-time Emmy award-winning filmmaker and the founder and executive producer of McGee Media, a documentary film company dedicated to producing content that inspires a more fair and equitable world. She is also the founder and executive producer of MAKERS, a women’s media brand that aims to make women and their stories seen and heard. Recent projects include Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (PBS); Reconstruction (PBS); Option B (HBO); Rancher, Farmer, Fisherman (Discovery); and First In Human (Discovery). Dyllan served as the Director of Content and Operations for the International Freedom Center at Ground Zero in New York, a cultural institution proposed as part of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation’s redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. In 2014, McGee was presented with the New York Women in Communications’ Matrix Award and the Planned Parenthood Visionary award for her work preserving women's stories.
