Yory Wurmser is principle mobile analyst with eMarketer, the leading research firm for digital marketers. He writes reports that answer three core questions for mobile marketers and strategists: how consumers spend their mobile media time, what marketers are doing to reach consumers, and how mobile technology may develop in the near-future. Recent reports have covered maps and advertising, visual search and mobile time spent.
Prior to joining eMarketer, Wurmser was director of marketing and media insights at the Direct Marketing Association. He ran the research department at DMA, producing reports for sale for marketers and helping set internal strategy. Before entering the marketing world, Wurmser worked in management consulting and as a writer for TV documentaries. He has a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
