Phil Wilson

Phil Wilson is senior vice president, Demand Generation, at American Express. He leads a global team responsible for developing innovative solutions that attract and drive acquisition of new American Express Card Members around the world. His team plays a pivotal role in enabling greater scale and efficiency from the Company’s marketing investments by developing enterprise-level capabilities, marketing programs, data science and analytics solutions.

Phil brings 20 years of experience in B2C and B2B marketing, working across the marketing mix. He has a passion for redefining marketing and how to bring to life the best customer experience through the use of data and digitization of the consumer journey.

Since joining American Express in 2006, Phil has led teams focused on converting marketing approaches and acquisition models to be predominantly digital and has worked out of Toronto, New York and London at various points in his career.
