Erica Schmidt, the first female to ascend to the Global CEO role of IPG Mediabrands’ advertising technology unit Cadreon, continues to break barriers. As Global CEO, Schmidt focuses on the global development and management of IPG’s programmatic offering, which provides data-driven marketing solutions on behalf of its partners – UM, Initiative and Reprise – as well as its clients.

Prior to becoming Global CEO, Schmidt served as Executive Vice President, Managing Director, North America where she led the Cadreon team that developed the agency’s best-in-class product suite. As a leading voice in the ad tech and programmatic space, Schmidt has strengthened Cadreon’s consulting practice by building data-enabled strategies with direct impact on investment decisions. Before that, she spent eight years in London working on the global development and rollout of Dentsu Aegis’ search offering iProspect, as well as its programmatic trading offering.
