John Povey is a4 Media’s senior vice president of marketing and data analytics. He is responsible for the organization’s brand management, integrated planning services and advanced analytics.
Previously at Altice USA John was vice president of marketing, where he managed strategic media planning and analytics for the consumer brands Optimum & Suddenlink. Prior to that role, he was vice president of database marketing at Cablevision, which was acquired by Altice USA in 2016, where he led the data-driven decision process in marketing more than four years.
John led the initiative to measure and optimize incremental impact of all channels in the marketing mix for Optimum where he decreased cost per sale by 18%, while lifting total sales and generating over $45MM in new customer value.
John received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from New York Institute of Technology.
