As Head of Strategy, East at Mekanism, Ambika is a career-long strategist who uses her experience in data, engagement and comms planning help brands build businesses, rethink categories and connect with people.
She earned her creative stars and stripes at BBH and Mother, and got her “advertising MBA” at Dentsu's B2B shop, gyro:. She’s worked on reinvigorating legacy brands such as Grey Goose and Tiffany, and helped bridge the divide between B2B and B2C with brands like HP, Cars.com and Zillow.
Ambika has worked with other brands such as Google Chrome, YouTube, Burger King, MeUndies, and UNICEF.
Alongside Ambika's love for brand and business strategy, she's passionate about teaching how to strategize with people. She has educated students on brand-thinking at Parsons, guest-lectured at Wharton, spoken about the power of leadership, and cultivating diversity and inclusion. Internally she works to ensure that Mekanism’s growth maps back to the growth of talent and vice versa.
