Marco Frey was born in Zürich, Switzerland to a family of publishers, his grandfather growing newspaper company Frey AG to a diverse portfolio as well as acquiring the city’s major printing press. His father took his own direction when he moved to Hilton Head Island building up the go-to community magazine, Hilton Head Monthly as well as growing a fledgling golf publication Golfer’s Guide into a booming nationwide publication in the 90s. While music was Marco’s biggest passion, he discovered the power of language when he came across a collection of poems by Walt Whitman. Inspired by many thought leaders and investing in his own business and marketing education, Marco has landed a job at Taktical, a digital agency in New York City with a focus on search engine optimization. While Marco continues to contribute to the city’s fertile music scene, he’s positioning himself to equip companies and personal brands to harness the power of content marketing.
