After a successful inaugural event in the heart of Tokyo in 2016, Advertising Week Asia is set to make its return 29 May – 1 June, 2017. The Tokyo Midtown complex in the Roppongi district, a famed and historic location in the heart of the city, will once again play host to AWAsia’s unique blend of daytime programming and evening networking and entertainment.
Professionals from the marketing, advertising, media and agency industries from across the Asia Pacific region will join together to learn, network and liase with the rest of the industry’s best and brightest.
Advertising Week Asia, the most recent of the event’s lineup of global host cities, first launched in June 2016 with over 11,000 attendees from throughout Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, India, Indonesida, Taiwan and the Phillipines.
Attendees were invited to attend over 100 unique seminars and workshops that focused on the most timely, topical trends facing the industry and to hear from featured speakers such as Nissan’s Asako Hoshino, IBM Japan’s Paul Yonamine and Shiseido’s Masahiko Uotani. To close out each day, guests could enjoy one-of-a-kind entertainment in some of Tokyo’s most iconic venues.
The official theme for Advertising Week Asia’s second annual event has recently been announced as “Unlocking Tomorrow,” which speaks to the prominent and rapid innovations taking hold of the creative and technology industries today.
