Christopher-Ian Reichel

Since the late 1990s, Christopher-Ian Reichel has been an active part of the interactive industry – where he has successfully led projects and delivered solutions in nearly every environment, ranging from lean startups to traditional Madison Avenue design agencies and in-house corporate innovation labs.

Prior to joining IBM Interactive Experience, his roles have included Director of Product Development for Viacom/MTVnetworks and Vice President for Design at Credit Suisse. Additionally, he has been the leader on major initiatives for American Express, J.Crew, Citibank, MSNBC, Samsung, and IBM. He brings with him a deep knowledge of digital product strategy; application design; social, content, e-commerce, and digital workspace platform infrastructures; recommendation and reputation systems; and other methods of making complex problems seem simple, intuitive, and natural.
