Erik is a seasoned media executive who has developed innovative media and sponsorship solutions for global brands in the US and internationally. He is an expert in helping marketers be successful in non-traditional, place-based environments, with a proven track record of successfully activating brands in unique, yet challenging, media environments.
As the Chief Revenue Officer at Rouge Media, Erik uses his expertise in audience targeting, out of home, digital media and more to drive and spearhead the US market revenue growth within the company’s targeted audience verticals, leading a team of media experts.
Prior to Rouge, he built a successful out-of-home air travel media business within WPP’s Kinetic, introducing a new data-driven media planning & buying approach that helped him successfully grow his division. Over the years he won various awards for airport marketing executions that he and his team developed for global advertisers along the likes of HSBC and Marriott. Erik has also held senior sales and account management positions at media operators JCDecaux and Clear Channel.
Erik was born in the Netherlands and resides with his wife and two daughters in New York City.
